Sometimes oral supplementation may not be the best option — for example, in the case of a confirmed deficiency, impaired absorption, or when supplements are not well tolerated. During periods of increased physical demand, selected IV micronutrient therapies may also be considered as a supportive option.
With IV therapy, micronutrients are delivered directly into the bloodstream, bypassing the gastrointestinal tract.
At my practice in Berlin-Mitte, I offer a selected range of IV micronutrient therapies. Before each treatment, we look at your individual situation, health history, current medications, and — where appropriate — laboratory results to determine which infusion, if any, is suitable for you.

IV micronutrient therapy requires particular care in women with breast cancer. Not every micronutrient is appropriate during every phase of treatment, and potential interactions and contraindications need to be considered carefully. During active cancer treatment, I therefore use IV therapy only in selected situations and, where necessary, in coordination with your oncology team. After acute treatment has ended, IV micronutrient therapy may be considered based on your individual needs, symptoms, and micronutrient status.
Menopause can coincide with fatigue, sleep problems, and changes in physical and emotional well-being. Periods of prolonged stress or high professional or personal demands can also leave you feeling depleted. Depending on your individual situation, selected IV therapies with magnesium, amino acids, and other micronutrients may be an option — particularly where there is an increased need, a deficiency, or oral supplementation is not sufficient or well tolerated.
If you place high demands on your body — for example during intensive training or preparation for an endurance event — nutrition, hydration, and recovery remain the foundation. Where there is an increased need or a specific reason for supplementation, selected IV micronutrients or amino acids may be considered as an additional option.
Persistent exhaustion or recurring infections can have many different causes. Rather than simply reaching for an infusion, I first look at what may be contributing — including your health history, nutrition, medications, and, where appropriate, laboratory results. If there is a clear indication for micronutrient support, IV therapy may be one component of an individual treatment plan.
If you are already receiving ongoing care from me, we will have discussed your health history, current medications, and any potential interactions or contraindications. If you are booking an infusion as a stand-alone appointment, the process is simple:
First, you book your appointment online. You will then receive a short intake form covering your health history, medications, and other relevant information. This allows me to review everything in advance and check whether the infusion — or any of its ingredients — may not be suitable for you.
You can select your preferred infusion when completing the form, but you do not have to decide in advance. If you are unsure, we will discuss your options when you arrive and choose the infusion that best fits your individual situation and what you are hoping to address.
Depending on the infusion and your individual needs, selected add-ons may also be available.
On the IV Therapy Overview page, you will find all the infusions I currently offer, together with their key ingredients and information on what they are designed for. You can explore the different options beforehand — we will decide together which one is appropriate for you and your individual situation.

For my IV treatments, I primarily work with products and infusion protocols from DripDrip. The company specializes in intravenous micronutrient therapy, and I have many years of practical experience with both its products and their use.
My connection with DripDrip goes beyond a product partnership: I worked for the company myself for two years, gaining extensive hands-on experience with intravenous micronutrients and a wide range of infusion protocols. Today, we work together as cooperation partners.
IV therapy is therefore not simply an additional service I offer. It is an area I have been working with intensively for years and in which I have extensive practical experience.
IV therapy is generally well tolerated when it is appropriately selected, correctly dosed, and administered with proper medical screening and monitoring. Safety depends on the substances and doses used as well as your health history, kidney function, medications, and other individual risk factors. That is why I screen for possible contraindications and interactions before every infusion.
Most infusions take around 20–45 minutes, depending on the formula and how easily intravenous access can be established.
That varies and depends partly on why you are receiving the infusion. Some people notice a difference shortly afterwards, while others do not feel any immediate change. Whether an infusion is appropriate or beneficial, however, cannot be judged simply by whether you feel an effect straight away.
That depends on the type of infusion, why you are receiving it, and your individual situation. There is no standard schedule that is right for everyone. My approach is to use IV therapy selectively and with a clear rationale, rather than simply at regular intervals.
Please do not arrive on an empty stomach and make sure you are well hydrated beforehand. After your infusion, take it easy for the rest of the day; depending on the formula, I may recommend avoiding strenuous exercise or sauna until the following day.
If you are acutely unwell, have a fever, or develop an infection before your appointment, please let me know so we can decide whether the infusion should be postponed.
Possibly — but it depends on your condition, your medications, and the ingredients and dosage of the infusion. I therefore check for possible interactions and contraindications before every treatment.
In some situations, yes — but this requires particular care. Not every infusion or micronutrient is appropriate during every phase of breast cancer treatment. Whether IV therapy is an option depends on your current treatment phase, medications, health status, and the specific ingredients being considered.
During active cancer treatment, I use IV therapy only in selected situations and, where necessary, in coordination with your oncology team.
Possible side effects depend on the ingredients used and can include local irritation at the infusion site, bruising, dizziness or circulatory reactions, and intolerance or allergic reactions. Other risks may apply to specific ingredients or doses. This is why careful screening and appropriate monitoring are important.
Not sure which infusion is right for you? Book an appointment and we will decide together.
