Network & Recommendations

Places I know and recommend

A breast cancer diagnosis brings questions that go far beyond medical treatment. Where can I find psycho-oncological support? How can I connect with other women who have been through breast cancer? Who can help with practical, social, or legal questions? And where can I find a beautiful, well-fitting bra or expert prosthesis fitting after breast surgery?

Having the right network around you can make a real difference. Here you will find organisations, specialist services, and people I work with or confidently recommend to women living with and beyond breast cancer.

Medical & Psychosocial Support

Dr. Friederike Siedentopf – Breast Health

Dr. Friederike Siedentopf is a gynecologist specialising in the diagnosis and treatment of breast conditions. I also collaborate with her practice in Berlin-Charlottenburg, where I regularly offer Ayurveda Taster Retreats for women with breast cancer.

Self-Help, Community & Exchange

Frauenselbsthilfe Krebs

Frauenselbsthilfe Krebs is one of Germany’s largest independent cancer self-help organisations, with a particular focus on breast and gynecological cancers. It offers local groups, online peer support, counselling, and a wide range of information and resources. I have also given workshops for women in the organisation.

Auch mit der Frauenselbsthilfe Krebs verbindet mich eine Zusammenarbeit: Ich durfte bereits Workshops für ihre Teilnehmerinnen geben.

dasBUUSENKOLLEKTIV

dasBUUSENKOLLEKTIV is a community created by and for people with breast cancer. It brings together honest conversation, peer support, knowledge, and patient empowerment — with a direct, modern, and refreshingly unconventional approach to talking about breast cancer. I have also contributed workshops to the BUUSENKOLLEKTIV community.

Ich war selbst bereits mit Workshops für das BUUSENKOLLEKTIV dabei.

After Breast Surgery: Care, Lingerie & Fashion

in petto – Breast Prosthetics & Lymphatic Care

For me, in petto is much more than a traditional medical supply shop. This Berlin specialist store combines expert breast prosthesis and lymphatic care with a wide selection of bras, swimwear, and other products — in an atmosphere that feels much more like a boutique. I have also held Taster Retreats at in petto and confidently recommend the team based on my own experience of their expertise, advice, and approach to women after breast cancer.

Ich habe bei in petto bereits Schnupperretreats angeboten und empfehle das Team auch deshalb gerne weiter, weil ich Auswahl, Beratung und den Umgang mit betroffenen Frauen persönlich kennengelernt habe.

Amoena

Amoena develops breast prostheses, specialist bras, lingerie, sportswear, and swimwear for women after breast surgery. What I particularly appreciate is the way the brand combines functionality with modern lingerie and fashion. I also have a personal connection with Amoena, having modelled for the company myself.

Mit Amoena verbindet mich auch persönlich etwas: Ich durfte selbst bereits als Model für das Unternehmen vor der Kamera stehen.

A Network That Keeps Growing

No single practice or service can provide everything a woman may need during and after breast cancer. That is why having a trusted network matters to me — and why I am happy to share the people and organisations I know, whether you are looking for medical or psychosocial support or simply practical help in everyday life.

This page will continue to grow along with my network.

You will find podcasts, interviews, and press features under Press & Media.
